Day 1 : USA/Israel. Departure from North America on our overnight flight to Tel Aviv. Dinner and breakfast will be served aloft.

Day 2: Tel Aviv. We arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where we are met by Triumph Tours staff who will assist us to transfer to our hotel along the Mediterranean )

Day 3: Jaffa, Caesarea, Mount Carmel, Akko & Tiberias.

After breakfast we visit ancient Jaffa, we drive north along the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea, Roman capital of Judea. Here we view the beautifully restored theater, the ruins of the ancient town, the harbor and aqueduct.

We travel inland to Megiddo (Biblical Armageddon), then continue to Muhraka on Mt. Carmel, where Elijah defeated the priests of Ba'al. We then visit the ancient Canaanite and Phoenician port of Akko, a major Galilean city during the Roman period and capital of the Crusader Kingdom after the fall of Jerusalem. We continue to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. We transfer to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes & Banias. We set sail on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum and visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, and the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. On to Hazor, a Canaanite city rebuilt by King Solomon, through the Hula Valley to Banias, ancient Caesarea Philippi at the foot of Mt Hermon.

After ascending the Golan Heights, visit the former Syrian fortifications, then drive along the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee to Kursi, where Jesus cast out the demons from the man of Gedara. Stop at Yardenit, a special site on the Jordan River, for a Baptism Service. Return to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Tiberias, Beit She'an, Visit Kibbutz Ginossar on the Sea of Galilee, where we view an excavated boat dating from the time of Jesus, then drive to Cana, site of Jesus' first miracle, and Nazareth, His boyhood home. We drive south via the Jordan Valley to Beit She'an, an extraordinary excavation of an ancient Roman city.

Drive to Jericho, the oldest known city in the world. From the Tel we can see Elisha's Fountain and the Mount of Temptation where Jesus fasted for 40 days. Continue our drive up to Jerusalem, the highlight of our tour, where we prepare to welcome the Sabbath in God's holy city. Return to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Sabbath Services. Afternoon walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem. Today we enjoy Sabbath Services at the Seventh-Day Adventist church in Jerusalem, a short walk from our hotel. Later today we'll take a walking tour through the Old City. (Return to our hotel

Day 7 : Jerusalem Old & New. A full day of sightseeing in Jerusalem, exploring our Christian heritage and its Jewish roots, includes Mt. of Olives, Mt. Scopus, Mt. Zion, and the site of the Upper Room. Visit the Kidron Valley and the ancient olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Continue to the Old City within the walls, including the Via Dolorosa, the restored Jewish Quarter, the Western (Wailing) Wall, the Temple Site on Mt. Moriah and the Garden Tomb. Later this afternoon we'll visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the Memorial to the Holocaust at Yad Vashem. We return to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Masada, Ein Gedi, Dead Sea & Qumran. Today we visit the fortress of Masada, where Jewish defenders made their last stand against Rome (AD 73). Continue along the shore of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi, David's waterfall and a wonderful nature center. After a dip in the mineral-filled waters of the Dead Sea, we continue to Qumran to see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Later this afternoon we return to Jerusalem for our dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9:Jerusalem

Today is a free day to be spent at leisure. You will be able to revisit favorite sites, do some shopping or stroll around Ben Yehuda Street wih its lovely sidewalk cafes. . (Return to our hotel for our final dinner together in Jerusalem, and an overnight stay.

Day 10 :

Morning transfer to the airport for our flight home.
